Fort Worth — Portions of North and Central Texas will experience elevated fire weather conditions today, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth office.

High temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-50s to mid-60s, with wind gusts of 20–25 mph and humidity levels between 15–20 percent. These conditions will promote an elevated fire threat, particularly in areas near and west of Interstate 35.
