Dallas police: 5 arrested after crowd allegedly assaults officers during crash investigation

DALLAS — Dallas police arrested five people after a crowd allegedly assaulted officers and interfered with a crash investigation overnight in Oak Cliff, according to the Dallas Police Department.

Officers were called to an assist officer call around 12:05 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 500 block of North Zang Boulevard. Police said officers were investigating a crash when a crowd gathered at the scene and began assaulting officers and interfering with the investigation.
