A drive along Southwest Loop 820 turned fatal yesterday when a multi-vehicle collision near Bryant Irvin Road left one driver dead, according to Fort Worth police.
Officers responding to reports of a major crash found the driver dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or said what may have led up to the collision.
The Dallas Morning News reports that Fort Worth officers were dispatched to the area after calls about a serious wreck and that investigators remained on scene into the evening.
What the police said
In a brief statement quoted by The Dallas Morning News, police said only that “the investigation is ongoing.” Officials have not yet said how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone else was hurt.
