There is enough electricity to meet demand as the Fort Worth area and other parts of the state prepare for the cold, according to a forecast from the state’s power grid manager.
The National Weather Service is predicting cold weather in the coming days throughout much of the state, including in North Texas. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Weather Service says there is the potential for a “significant intrusion of Arctic air and impactful wintry precipitation” starting on Friday and stretching into the weekend.
