In the effort to ensure safer roads for Arlington, the local police department is pushing forward with the Safe Roads Initiative—a program aimed at curtailing driving behaviors that lead to accidents and fatalities. The Arlington Police Department recently posted on their Facebook page that in a recent enforcement effort, an officer stopped a vehicle barreling down the highway at 102 MPH.
