DALLAS — Icy roads caused dangerous driving conditions across Dallas-Fort Worth on Wednesday morning.
Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie was shut down for several hours overnight Wednesday due to a multi-vehicle crash after a semi-truck jackknifed and crashed into a pickup truck.
An 18-wheeler in Grapevine struck a barrier around 4 a.m. in the 17000 block of the eastbound lanes of 114, the Grapevine Police Department said in a press release. Officials said the truck crashed after losing control due to the icy conditions on the roads. Nobody was injured in the crash, but the highway will remain closed for at least two hours.
