IRVING, Texas — A pastor for an Arlington-based church was arrested and charged for indecency with a child-sexual contact, a second-degree felony, stemming from an allegation from 2008, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
An arrest affidavit obtained by WFAA stated that the victim, a relative of the suspect, told police on June 20, 2025 the incident happened in the summer of 2008 when she was 14 years old. According to the victim’s testimony, she was in a Irving apartment with Troyce Hernandez, 50, when he started touching her while watching a movie.
The victim told police Hernandez became erect while touching her back and stomach, then covered himself with a pillow, according to the affidavit. Police interviewed Hernandez, and he told police he “did not remember doing that but did not deny that it occurred,” the affidavit stated…
