A Dallas man is facing a potential 20-year prison sentence after a botched armored car robbery left a security guard hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds. Laroyce Antoine Lambert was hit with a federal complaint on Thursday, for attempted interference of commerce by robbery following a violent confrontation at a Chase Bank in Balch Springs.
The incident unfolded at an ATM on Lake June Road while a security guard was in the middle of a routine service call. According to court documents, Lambert approached the guard with a gun and demanded cash.
