Buddhist monks will pass through Arlington County on their Walk for Peace from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C., on Monday and Tuesday next week. Rolling road closures will be in effect along the route, managed by the Arlington County Police Department to ensure safety for participants and the public, as per the Arlington County website.
Residents and onlookers are asked to quietly line the streets and not follow or interact closely with the monks. No material donations are being accepted during the walk.
