North Texas high schools close after reports of possible bomb threats

COPPELL, Texas — Several North Texas high schools reported bomb threats on Wednesday and two were closed as a result, police said.

Anna, Coppell and Duncanville High Schools all reported bomb threats. Anna and Coppell closed for the day as a result of the threats.

Around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Coppell ISD and police were made aware of a possible threat at the high school, the district said in a statement to parents. Classes were delayed, the students and teachers currently in the school were evacuated, and buses en route to school were deferred, officials said…
