Two Chihuahua puppies who looked almost like copy-paste twins ended up at a shelter in Fort Worth, Texas, but not together. They arrived at different times, and the moment the second little one came through the doors, the staff had that instant feeling: these two had to be related. Before long, their gut instinct turned out to be right.
But the shelter was packed, and the pups were still so tiny, still at that age where they really should have had their mom. That combination put them in real danger of being gently put to sleep.
