Fort Worth police resolve barricade situation without incident

FORT WORTH, Texas — A tense standoff ended peacefully after a person barricaded themselves inside a residence on San Miguel Trail, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

On February 19, 2026, North Division officers responded to a call at a residence near the 800 block of San Miguel Trail, where they found an adult in crisis. The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) was notified and arrived on the scene. No offense had been committed, so an information report was generated, and a follow-up visit was planned for the next day.
