A $30 million renovation at one of Fort Worth’s most recognizable historic properties will temporarily shutter the Stockyards Hotel and H3 Ranch—and affect roughly 120 workers.
A federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filing submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission shows that the hotel and restaurant at 109 E. Exchange Ave. will close on April 6. The filing states the closure is tied to planned renovations and that “employment separations” are expected to last longer than six months
