South Fort Worth Teen Dies After Gunfire Erupts in Apartment

An 18-year-old shot inside a south Fort Worth apartment last Tuesday has died at a local hospital, according to authorities. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Trevelle Boyer and ruled his death a homicide. A man arrested at the scene remains in jail on a felony charge tied to the shooting.

Shooting at Mirabel Apartments

Fort Worth police were called shortly before 4 p.m. last Tuesday to reports of gunfire at the Mirabel Apartments in the 6300 block of Woodway Drive. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound inside an apartment, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he later died.
