A new ice cream shop is on its way to NoVA. The Scoop N Scootery, a viral sundae brand, has announced that it is planning to open a new Clarendon outpost this summer.
The brand specializes in decadent sundaes topped with sweets like candy, cake, and buttercream frosting. The Arlington location will have more than 70 varieties of sundaes, shakes, cookies, and floats, a brand representative said. And, it offers delivery of those sweet treats until 2 a.m. for late-night cravings.
The company first started as a food truck and now has five locations in Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Texas. This will be the first Virginia location. It has more than 40,000 followers on TikTok, where it advertises its over-the-top desserts with creative videos.
The new shop will be at 1138 N. Irving St., Arlington, in the Beacon building. There’s no exact opening date yet, but they’re targeting early summer 2026…
