Two-Alarm Inferno Rips Through Arlington Apartment Roof

Arlington firefighters spent yesterday wrestling with a two-alarm blaze at an apartment complex on Forest Point Drive, according to officials. Crews rolled up just before 8 p.m. and were met with heavy fire pouring from the roof of a unit, prompting fire command to call a second alarm to bring in more trucks and personnel.

As reported by WFAA, firefighters were facing intense flames along the roofline and quickly requested the extra alarm to bolster the attack. That report, filed by Maci Smith, cited Arlington officials at the scene.
