Child arrives at hospital after being shot in the leg, Arlington Police say

ARLINGTON, Texas — A 6-year-old child was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound, according to Arlington police.

Medical staff notified police that a child was brought to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, the Arlington Police Department said in a press release.

Officers learned the incident happened at a home in the 2300 block of Quail Run Road, where they believe a discharged round from the second floor of the home, ended up in the first-floor room of the child, officials say…
