Two women have been arrested after authorities allegedly caught them attempting to sneak contraband materials into a Louisiana federal prison using an unexpected method.
In a Monday, March 9 news release, the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed they’d arrested Melanie Jean Worthington, 38, and Kassy Marie Cole, 41, both of Texas.
Per the release, the women were “attempting to smuggle drugs, cell phones and tobacco into the Federal Prison, by using a drone to fly in plastic crow decoys that were filled with the contraband.”
After getting the crows in the air, they were allegedly dropping them from the drone into the grounds of the prison…
