A World of Outlaws series official was killed and another was critically injured last Saturday night when two emergency vehicles collided while rushing to a wreck at Kennedale Speedway Park outside Fort Worth. The Cowtown Classic was stopped on the spot, and fans were cleared from the grandstands as crews worked the scene.
In a post on X, World of Outlaws said that “while officials were responding to an incident at Kennedale Speedway Park, two emergency vehicles collided.” Organizers told the Daily Mail that one official was killed and another suffered serious injuries. The series said the rest of last Saturday’s program was postponed while an investigation is opened.
