A 21-year-old Arlington man is behind bars after allegedly shooting his grandmother to death following a dispute over his allowance. Rontrell Jackson faces a murder charge in connection with the Friday, March 20, slaying of the 68-year-old victim.
The Arlington Police Department (APD) launched an investigation after receiving a call from a family member at approximately 4:40 p.m. According to official reports, the relative discovered the woman lying unresponsive on her apartment patio, partially concealed by a blanket.
