Wolverine Interests is hoping to package apartments, retail and office space into a 3.41-acre spot near the University of Texas at Arlington. The project calls for 248 apartments and a minimum of 15,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space for office and retail, along with a 300-space garage.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the cost of the project is estimated to run between $60 million and $80 million. HEDK Architects will contribute to the project’s design.
Under an agreement with Arlington, the city would provide as much as $4 million to get the project moving. In return, the developer would have to invest at least $60 million by Oct. 15, 2029 and lease 70% of the project’s retail and office space…
