Get in, we’re going simulated driving; New driver’s ed for the neurodivergent

Buckle up—researchers at the University of Texas at Arlington are reimagining what driver’s education can look like for young, neurodivergent drivers.

“Those with conditions like ADHD, high functioning autism, or developmental coordination disorder, dyspraxia,” explained Kate Hyun, associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington.
