HALTOM CITY, Texas — A woman and her young daughter were shot and killed Friday in a Birdville ISD parking lot in what police believe was a murder-suicide, leaving a community in mourning and a North Texas elementary school without one of its kindergartners.
Haltom City Police Department confirmed three people died in the shooting near the Birdville ISD administrative offices and Birdville Stadium. The man who opened fire on the woman and child then took his own life, according to police.
None of the victims have been publicly identified…
