Suspect remains at large after hitting and killing pedestrian on US 75, shutting down the highway for hours overnight

DALLAS — Dallas police are searching for a suspect who allegedly hit and killed a pedestrian on US 75, shutting down the highway for hours overnight.

Officers responded around 2:47 a.m. on Sunday, April 5 to the northbound lanes of US 75 near N Carroll Avenue, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. Officers found that a suspect vehicle had hit a person walking on the highway and did not stop, police said.
