Firefighters Battle Large House Fire Near Arlington–Fort Worth Border, Two Treated for Smoke Inhalation

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fire crews responded early Sunday morning to a house fire on a large property near the Fort Worth–Arlington border, leaving one home heavily damaged and two residents treated for smoke inhalation.

Just after 6:00 a.m. on April 5, the Fort Worth Fire Department was dispatched to the 8100 block of Shelton Drive, an area known for large homes set back from the roadway. The property is also part of the grounds near St. Ignatius of Loyola College Preparatory School.
