Who was this person? Fort Worth police ask for tips in 41-year-old unidentified remains case

FORT WORTH, Texas — Authorities in Fort Worth are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person whose remains were discovered more than four decades ago.

In a recent social media post, the Fort Worth Police Department said “we are seeking any information the public may have in helping us identify a deceased individual who was found on January 18, 1985.”

Police said the remains were “primarily skeletal” at the time they were discovered in a vacant field in the 3600 block of Village Creek Road.
