Missouri’s The Big Biscuit eyes Dallas, Houston for Texas takeover

After 25 years in business, a Missouri-based breakfast and lunch chain is targeting Texas as its next expansion destination.

The team behind The Big Biscuit, which has 30 locations across the Midwest and South, has its sights set on development opportunities in the Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston regions, according to a recent call for franchisees. But a few other additional markets across the state are under evaluation, too.

“As we look to expand into Houston, Texas is a natural step for The Big Biscuit,” president and CEO Chad Offerdahl said in an announcement. “Communities across Houston value the same thing we do: connection, hospitality, and a breakfast restaurant to bring people together.
