Fort Worth police seek victims in financial exploitation case

The Fort Worth Police Department said the case involving Cartaveion Demarcus Holmon, also known as “Tank,” began as a stolen vehicle component recovery by the Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force. Investigators say it has since expanded into a broader case involving the suspected exploitation of elderly and vulnerable individuals.

According to police, Holmon is believed to have used deceptive sales practices connected to residential solar panel services and vehicle transactions.

Investigators say the suspect may have placed vehicles in victims’ names without their full knowledge or consent, potentially leaving them financially responsible for purchases they did not authorize.

Authorities are urging anyone who had contact with Holmon regarding solar services, vehicle purchases, or financing arrangements and believes they may be a victim to come forward…
