Severe weather in DFW impacting flights out of Easterwood Airport

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Severe weather in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is causing flight disruptions out of Easterwood Airport in College Station.

According to the airport’s departures page, a flight scheduled to depart for DFW at 6:17 p.m. was canceled. The flight scheduled to arrive at 10:17 p.m. was also canceled on Tuesday afternoon.

Ongoing tornado warned storms will slowly move through the Metroplex over the next several hours, potentially lasting past sunset. These same storms will be monitored for some potential impacts to our northernmost counties tonight, though IF they go the distance, they will likely be much weaker in nature…
