Pearl River County deputies arrested two men from Texas after they were found with suspected drugs and a firearm during a safety checkpoint on Thursday, April 30.
At approximately 11:51 p.m., deputies conducted a safety checkpoint on Highway 43 and stopped a vehicle that had a strong odor of marijuana coming from its interior. The passengers were identified as Charlie Randall, 66, from Cedar Hill, Texas, and Joseph Brooks, 65, from Dallas, Texas.
