WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — Wichita Falls police arrested an Arlington man wanted out of Taylor County, and he is now facing several additional charges after a pursuit through Wichita Falls that happened on the night of Thursday, May 14.
WFPD officers were alerted by Abilene police that O’Ryan Ross was in the area. According to an affidavit, WFPD located Ross driving Eastbound on Kell Freeway, where officers said they paced Ross at 80 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.
During the traffic stop, investigators said Ross pulled over on Central Freeway near Scotland Park and shortly after took off in his vehicle.
The officer said that Ross drove down the embankment and onto the access road, turned into a neighborhood, driving at a high rate of speed, failing to stop at multiple stop signs. Ross eventually stopped, jumped out of the vehicle, and allegedly began running on foot, jumping a locked gate into a backyard, running through another yard, and jumping that fence all in the 1400 block of 6th Street…
