WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A Wichita County jury returned a maximum sentence against a man previously convicted of murder in Tarrant County after finding him guilty of striking a 71-year-old woman in the face with the broken leg of a TV tray.
Andres Gonzalez, 58, of Wichita Falls, was first arrested and charged with injury to an elderly person in August 2025. He’s been in custody since his arrest, held on a $500,000 bond.
Police alleged that Gonzalez was inside a residence in Wichita Falls, where he lived with his girlfriend and her 71-year-old mother. They said he’d been causing a disturbance, breaking the legs off of a foldable TV tray and busting out windows of the residence.
