Man dead in Fairfax County hit-and-run crash

SEVEN CORNERS, Va. — Fairfax County Police are searching for a driver that struck and killed a pedestrian early Tuesday morning and left the scene of the crash.

Fairfax County Police officers were called to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian in the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive around 2:30 a.m. When they got there, they found a man had been struck in the road and the driver involved was nowhere to be found.

The pedestrian, only identified as a man, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Detectives were at the crash site early Tuesday conducting an investigation. The intersection has been closed to traffic as the deadly crash investigation continues…
