Anthony Eugene Robinson, dubbed the “shopping cart killer,” has been sentenced to two life sentences plus 10 years in prison. He was also fined approximately $205,000, Rocktown Now reported.
Robinson was found guilty of killing Beth Redmon and Tonita Smith in Harrisonburg in 2021. The jury in his January 2025 trial had recommended four life sentences, 10 years in prison, and $400,000 in fines, WTOP reported.
