HERNDON, Va. — As Brendan Banfield prepares to learn his fate in Friday’s sentence in the killing of his wife, Christine Banfield. The couple’s former au pair, who became one of Christine’s closest friends, is speaking publicly for the first time about the woman she says changed her life.
Amanda Oliveira, who lived with the Banfield family as an au pair from 2019 to 2021, said Christine Banfield was much more than an employer.
