Happy Saturday, DMV! It will be a quiet and warm start to the morning. A mix of sun and clouds will be the trend, with temperatures starting in the 60s to 70s.

A cold front will continue to dive south into the area, and ahead of it, showers and storms will begin to pop up. Some storms could be on the stronger-to-severe side, with the main threat being damaging winds.

The severe threat for Sunday will be lower than Saturday, as a marginal risk for severe weather is expected in southern Maryland and parts of northern Virginia. Highs tomorrow will once again reach into the 90s.
Monday will be dry and sunny, but temperatures will be slightly cooler than on previous days, struggling to get out of the 80s. Mainly dry conditions will continue into Tuesday, with the next chance of rain possible on Wednesday.
