NASA Wallops rocket launch to be visible in Maryland on Wednesday morning

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. — A two-stage sounding rocket is scheduled to launch from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Wednesday morning, carrying more than 50 student-developed experiments into suborbital space.

The launch window for the Terrier-Improved Malemute rocket will open at 5:30 a.m. EDT. If skies are clear, the flight may be visible to residents throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.
