A Homeowner Found a Burglar Inside the Study. Now the Man Will Serve 20 Years

A Maryland burglary case ended with a 20-year prison sentence after prosecutors said two homes and a downtown restaurant were targeted over several months.

Todd A. Dixon-Latkovski, 53, of Germantown, was sentenced in Frederick County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree burglary and one count of second-degree burglary, according to the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The binding plea agreement requires Dixon-Latkovski to serve 20 years in the Division of Corrections, with credit for time served since February 2026…
