A Maryland woman narrowly escaped a fast-moving three-alarm house fire on Sunday after racing back inside her smoke-filled home to search for her pet, only to be forced back out as flames consumed the house.
The fire broke out shortly after 4:20 p.m. on July 5, inside a home in the 3700 block of Hilltop Drive in Joppa, according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal.
