VIRGINIA (DC News Now) — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer, requesting that Fairfax County keep an illegal immigrant from El Salvador accused of rape and abduction in custody.
According to a release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published Tuesday, officials said that officers in Prince William County arrested Juan Arevalo Mendez on June 30.
