MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A man was shot and killed by officers in Montgomery County on Sunday.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD), officers were called for reports of a man loading a gun at a bus stop around 6:45 p.m. at Montgomery Village Plaza in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road.
As officers approached, the suspect took actions which resulted in the officers from both the MCPD and the Gaithersburg Police Department shooting and killing the man. A handgun was recovered from the scene, according to police.
