GREENBELT, Md. (7News) — A Maryland man and an illegal immigrant from El Salvador have been indicted on federal cocaine trafficking charges following an undercover drug investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland announced Tuesday.
Jamar Rashard Whitaker, 42, of Waldorf, and Pedro Antonio Guardado Rivera, 33, of El Salvador, made their initial court appearances after a federal grand jury returned a two-count indictment.
