HANOVER, Md. — The Maryland Department of Transportation has announced conditional awards for five new public fast-charging electric vehicle projects aimed at closing remaining charging gaps along major travel corridors across the state.
The projects, funded through Round 3 of Maryland’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program, will support new charging locations in Baltimore, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. The conditional award recipients include Tesla, ElectraStop, and Universal EV.
