ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — A person who was sick with measles travelled to several locations in Reston, Virginia, earlier this month, according to Virginia Department of Health officials.
The person, who was not a Virginia resident, was in Reston on August 16 and went to the following locations. Officials said they are working to confirm more exposure sites:
- Sheraton Reston Hotel, located at 11810 Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, August 16.
- MOTW Coffee and Pastries, located at 11830 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 200 in Reston, August 16.
- 7-Eleven, located at 11854 Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, August 16.
- Barber & Men’s Spa, located at 11830 Sunrise Valley Dr, Unit 900 in Reston, between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on August 16.
There have been 179 cases in Virginia so far in 2026, according to preliminary data from VDH. The week of May 24-30 saw 34 cases alone – the most of any week thus far, according to VDH data…
