FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Traffic was at a standstill Thursday morning after a collision on Interstate 66 in Fairfax County.
The crash happened on I-66 east near Exit 53, near Centreville. Details remain limited; however, a traffic camera showed traffic stopped on the highway as first responders worked on the scene.
As of Thursday morning, all eastbound lanes on I-66 remained closed. Morning commuters are encouraged to find alternative routes until the crash is cleared.
