WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — “Drivers need to make sure they avoid distractions and are aware of their surroundings at all times,” said Lieutenant Colonel Todd Taylor, Director of the Virginia State Police Bureau of Field Operations.
State police are warning drivers to use extra caution after 10 people died in crashes along Virginia roads over Labor Day. VSP troopers worked 848 crashes. However, deadly crashes took place in parts of the DMV, including Fairfax County and Alexandria.
