FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A man has been sentenced to prison for shooting and killing a man outside his car in Fairfax County in 2025.
The shooting took place after officials said 20-year-old Kianmehr Shirinipaziziba was driving his vehicle along Elden Street in Herndon and saw a man “behaving erratically” in the street. The man in the roadway, identified as 39-year-old Jason Hann, reportedly kicked the Tesla that Shirinipaziziba was driving.

“Witnesses testified that Mr. Hann had kicked the Tesla and that Shirinipaziziba shot him once in the chest from inside the car,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano. “The defendant stayed at the scene and said, ‘I shot him’ and ‘we need to get him some help.'”
20-year-old Shirinipaziziba pleaded guilty to the shooting in May 2026, and on Sept. 25, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with all but 5 years and 8 months suspended…
