Purple Line opening date is ‘dynamic,’ MTA official says

The 16-mile, 21-stop Purple Line is moving closer to transitioning from a project under construction to a fully operational light rail line in Maryland.

But at a meeting before the Montgomery County Council’s Transportation and Environment Committee, officials involved in the project told council members the actual opening date remains “dynamic.”
