One firefighter was injured and two cats died following a house fire in Loudon County. Officials say that two Hamilton residents safely escaped a late-night house fire after working smoke alarms alerted them in time to evacuate.
On Friday, Oct. 23, just after 11 p.m., crews responded to the 38000 block of Downs Court in Hamilton after multiple 911 calls came in reporting a basement fire.
Fire and Rescue crews from Hamilton, Purcellville, Round Hill, Leesburg and Frederick County, Maryland, responded to the scene.
