Virginia man sentenced to 100 years for stabbing, bludgeoning co-worker to death over stolen lunch

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. – A Virginia man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for the 2021 murder of a co-worker who he said stole his lunch from their work fridge. Bazn Berhe, 25, received the 100-year sentence with 30 years suspended, so he will serve 70 years of active incarceration, the Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney announced Tuesday.
